The Kearney Area Children’s Museum has renovated one of its most beloved exhibits, the grocery zone. Since opening their Little Sprouts Outdoor Classroom in the fall of 2017, they are now opening a Little Sprouts Market that showcases different types of food, shopping techniques, and new ways to get your five food groups in your shopping cart. The new space also includes a mascot, “Benny Brussel” who offers helpful hints and ideas for healthy food choices. The ribbon cutting will be Tuesday, October 29th at 12:15 pm at The Alia Arram Memorial Building, 5827 4th Ave. Kearney NE. All are welcome to attend the brief ceremony.
